San Sun: "Vietnamese restaurant" San Sun Restaurant Tip by sunshine9689

Cheap and very tasty Vietnamese cuisine in a clean, small restaurant where locals go.

Prices vary from $4.50 to $6.

Portions are quite large. For example, a bowl of noodles with BBQ pork ($6) will be more than enough for a hungry guest (or two).

They serve free tea and it was not too bad. :-)

TIP: When eating in Chinatown, make sure you know what you are getting into. Some places are really not sanitary. Going to the website of SF Public Health Department and checking restaurant`s food safety score can save you from having a diarrhea or worse, later.
According to this website, San Sun has a pretty high score (84 out of 100).

Favorite Dish: Fried rice noodles with beef. Yummy!!!
