"The beach" Frutillar Things to Do Tip by barryg23

There's a popular beach on the shores of Lago Llanquihue, with a small area of the lake sectioned off for swimming. Frutillar was quite busy when we visited, despite the cloudy weather. And the weather didn't deter the swimmers either. We spent a goo dhour on the beach, which is composed of fine, volcanic sand. I tried going in the water but it was freezing. I've plenty of respect for all those Chileans who were daring enough to brave the waters.
