"got an auto" East Bay Park Transportation Tip by davecallahan

East Bay Park Transportation: 1 reviews and 1 photos

If you haven't got an automobile it will be difficult to get to East Bay Park, NY.

The nearest car rental place is well over 20 miles away in Oswego (Enterprise, 340 State Route 104, 315-342-6000) or Newark (Enterprise, 833 West Union Street, 315-331-1122).
Quick Cab Express (in Newark, 215 South Main Street, 315-332-3619) is the closest taxi service.
GreyHound Bus service is in Geneva (41 Lake Street, 315-789-2582) and then you would have to get a cab (Pat's Taxi, on Lake Street, 315-789-8424) or rent a car (Enterprise, on route 5/20, 315-789-3500) to get from Geneva to East Bay Park.

Once you are driving in East Bay Park you will be able to get to Wolcott or Sodus Bay by Lummisville Road or farther east-west by means of route 104. Lake Bluff Road (route 414) is the main north-south road but there are many secondary roads criss-crossing through the farmlands. All the primary roads are wide one or two lane thoroughfares with speed limits typically 55 mph. They are well maintained all year around.
The secondary roads can be a bit iffy in the winter with ice and snow drifts. They are a bit narrower with no shoulders typically. In summer, you need to be alert for farm vehicles crossing the road or riding down the edge as they move from field to field.
