Arc de triomphe - so close to my hotel, this mnument is impressive!!
Champs Elysee - Paris most famous street - well worth walking all the way down it to the Louvre.
Place de la concorde - see the obelisk, its great
The Louvre (9euro entry) - you need days here, but if short on time, at least see the Mona Lisa and also the egyptian stuff.
Notre Dame - famous gothic cathedral-amazing inside and views from the top
Sacre Coeur - fantastic church up on the hill
Moulin Rouge/Blanche metro area - red light area-lively(try the sex museum for fun)
The Seine - good views across the river
Grand/Petit palace - half way down the Champs Elysee-2 great buldings
Eiffel tower-finally i get to the famous landmark - 7.80 euro to the second floor, top floor was closed when i went , the views from the 2nd are great, especailly at night, and great views of the Sacre Coeur. The tower is a must. Expect huge queues, either go every early or last knockings at 11pm!
Horse racing, just out of town at Vincennes, also see Vincennes castle!!!
