There are several types of noodle salads which you can usually order in teashops and at small street vendors. Mondhi and Mishi are the most common ones but sometimes they also have a rice noodle salad which i find is quite nice. According to 'inside information' mishi is better in Mandalay than in Yangon. Me, i prefer Mondhi over Mishi. Mishi has some sort of soya-mush that they put over it, that really puts me off. In many places you'll get some clear soup on the side of your noodle salad. Very good for some extra salts especially when it is hot, it'll help against dehydration. Vegetarians need to take care though since this soup is often made of chicken broth (and they even put it in front of you when you've ordered vegetarian).
