Museum Fatahillah, Jakarta: 6 reviews and 10 photos

This museum is not as impressive as the National Museum but then its worth a look. My favourite piece in this place is the a wooden partition located on the 1st floor. The artwork was just amazing and I actually spend more than 20 minutes studying the details. Next to this partition is a bookshelf which is at least 12 feet high with the 2 statues on the top and 12 symbols. These 2 piece alone have made my trip here worth while.

Entrance fee is Rp2000. It is open from Tuesday till Sunday from 9.00 am till 3pm. Closed on Monday and Public Holidays.

Directions: Take a Transjakarta and stop at Kota Station and head north for about 20 meteres.
