"Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.." Dewan Filharmonik Petronas Tip by LiL...

Even if you are not a fan of classical music, it is worth making a trip to this hall just to have a look at the ID and architecture. The design is world class and you will be amazed by the beauty. The concerts are grouped according to the genre - Family Fun Day Children's concert, International Series where people like Kiri Te Kanawa, Jose Carreras and Bryn Terfel have performed, Light Classics series for those who want some easy listening pieces, Jazz Series with guests like the Count Basie Orchestra, World Music Series - Anouskar Shankar on the sitar etc etc etc. Tickets are extremely affordable and range from RM$10 to RM$200 ( USD$3 onwards ). You can get a 15% discount if you are a subscriber. Well... send me an email and i will lend u my subscriber number ! Please note the dress code though. They are pretty strict on that especially for the night concerts and especially for men. If you do not have a batek shirt or jacket, u can borrow one. But t shirts, jeans and sneakers are a definite no no.

Address: Suria KLCC Mall, Ground Floor.
Directions: To access the Philharmonic Hall, go to the Ground Floor of the Mall, look for the Chanel, Prada and Bally Boutiques. Walk towards the main entrance and u will see the Box Office in front of you on the right.
