Like some of my other Washington state adventures, I got a little hosed on some of the scenery due to the weather. I started my trek in Port Angeles, which provides easy access to the scenic drive that snakes up to the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center. Unfortunately, with the early start, I didn't get to see the inside of the visitor center, but I was treated to some fantastic views of the valleys surrounding the road. There are a number of small waterfalls along the way. The view coming down the ridge is actually even more impressive as you look out over Port Angeles, and on a clear day - across into Canada. The road itself is about 18 miles long, so figure 40 minutes each way.
