Autumn is one of this VTers favorite time of the year -- if one likes to do out door color photography well this is the time and place. The Mid Hudson in New York is as good as it gets for fall colors. I love the light on the great estates from across the Hudson river and the light off the lakes in the parks of the mountains on either side of the Hudson river.

So grab your VT hat and camera and get ready to enjoy the wondrous colors of the tress as they break out in bright and vivid reds, yellows and oranges.

The best time to come and see the colors of New York is from late September to the middle of October. So come on and see what are you waiting for.
