New York City Nightlife: 810 reviews and 727 photos
Bars and discos are found all over the East Village. When I stayed in New York, my host and me roamed the area on a Saturday night, and at least I was really surprised just how many people there were... Call me a redneck, but in my hometown the pavements are empty from 11pm on! Anyway, as the whole area is full of bars what you oughta do is just enter any one of them and enjoy a beer or a cocktail there. I wasn't disappointed with any one of the 5 we tried that night! ;)
Dress Code: depends on where you want to go - my host showed me a famous discotheque for the rich and beautiful where you probably won't come in without a suit and shirt, but in most of the places we went to, people were dressed casual
