"Bighorn National Forest" United States of America Off The Beaten Path Tip by DPando

Located in eastern Wyoming closer to Sheridan on the route 90 .. several miles after this city get the exit towards Dayton..where u will drive by a flat valley and just in front the mountains and the forests.. such a contrast.. quite steep and bending road with petroglifs on the walls and gorgeous mountain valleys on the mountain pass(2000 meters)..
Into the forest you can see the effects of fire 4 or 5 years ago .. a real pitty.. and a beautifull and small river canyon on the way down to Shell by route number 14 that ends in a gorgeous and amazing canyon where dies the forest. From that point the landscape becomes flat and desertic again till get Shoshone National Forest and Yellowstone after passing by Cody
