  St. Stephan's church

The classicistic catholic St. Stephan's church was built between 1808 and 1814 by Friedrich Weinbrenner on the orders of Grossherzog Karl Friedrich von Baden. The building was inspired by the Roman Pantheon but Karl Friedrich also wanted to have a tower.

The church was partly destroyed in WW2 and has been rebuilt in the 1950s. Inside the church you find a painting which belongs to the original high altar from the 19th century.
