St. Leonard's church is not regarded as the most beautiful in Honfleur but it is the only one we had time to get to and we found it very charming and interesting. There have been churches on this site since the late 12th Century but the current one is mostly 17th and 18th Centuries. The octagonal tower (18th Century) gives the exterior a pretty massive look. The interior however, is quite attractive with pointed arches lining the ambulatory and colorful murals between them. There is also some excellent statuary in the church.

Directions: On rue St. Leonard just west of the Tourist Info office
