Bucharest Things to Do: 767 reviews and 1,768 photos

The first Capitoline Wolf statue depicting a she-wolf suckling Romulus and Remus, the legendary founders of Rome, dates back to 500 BC and is in Rome. There are now copies in many countries, including Spain, France, Brazil and the USA, but none more than in Romania, where nearly every major city has one. Bucharest's is appropriately enough in Piaţa Romană (Roman Piazza) and was a gift from the Italian government.

Address: Piaţa Romană
