"The Belfast Wheel" Top 5 Page for this destination Northern Ireland Things to Do Tip by arty_girl

Northern Ireland Things to Do: 131 reviews and 306 photos

I'm happy to report that Belfast has something to 'do' these days! We now have a tourist wheel, I haven't yet been on it however I do pass it every day and I'm planning to venture onto it very soon and give you a more accurate update. The locals either love it or loathe it, - you can't miss it (it's 60 metres tall!) and is placed right outside the City Hall. Personally I think it looks stupid there- it should really be around the laganside.. but hey, that thing isn't gonna be moved over there too easily.

It's suitable for wheelchair users and each pod has heating and air conditioning for the ride which lasts approximately 13 minutes. As for the operating times, from Sunday – Thursday 10.00am – 9.00pm on Friday 10.00am – 10.00pm and finally, Saturday 9.00am – 10.00pm

Adult £6
Child (4 to 12 years) £4
Child (under 4 years) FREE
Private Gondola £44
VIP Gondola £50
VIP Gondola with Champagne £65

Tickets can be purchased online at World Tourist Attractions, at the wheel or by calling 028 9031 0607.

Address: Outside the City Hall!
Directions: From great Victoria Street station, walk past the grand opera house & Jurys Hotel, cross the road towards the direction of the centra shop, walk straight ahead and you'll see the City Hall across the road to the right.
