Walking, Bayeux: 4 reviews and 16 photos
There are a number of old houses in Bayeux. In a separate tip we depict the House of Adam and Eve (which houses a lace museum). You go by the Cathedral and then on to the Deanery (once the Bishop's Palace) where the "Bayeux Tapestry" is housed. (It was pouring the last time we visited so the picture of the gate is out of kilter). Luckily, this is a great indoor experiece. Just beyond the hospital in a stream is a fine water mill. There is a Mining Museum but we did not have time for it and an Art Museum (BaronGerard, who painted Napoleon, but it is in the Louvre) with lace exhibits.
