Jaisalmer Things to Do: 229 reviews and 752 photos

The Jain Temples are situated within the fort and are simply a must see. These are a group of seven Jain temples dating back 12th and 16th centuries and are dedicated to various Jain Tirthankars (Hermits). On the walls of the temples, you can find animal & human figures, carved in the famous Dilwara style which feature some of the best stone carvings in India. They really are breathtaking. The temples are fairly small and so can get quite crowded. More photo's can be found in one of my travelogues.

Open: Best to go in the morning. Admission: Rs20 & Rs50 for camera.
