Borobudur: "Cheap eats: Indonesian" Borobudur Restaurant Tip by heryanta

Borobudur Restaurant, San Francisco: 1 reviews and 1 photos

Recommended by an Indonesian friend who lives in the city I went in for dinner once. I found myself coming back the day after and the day after:

Food - superb
Owned by Indonesians, run by Indonesians and yeah, the food is very authentic. I came here three days in a row and had the egg noodle soup, Javanese spicy noodle (both dry and soup), "Kalasan" sweet fried chicken and the "Nasi Uduk" (Seasoned rice with chicken, meet and tofu) - all were simply delightful.

Service - good
It's a small restaurant and serving is a bit of a diner style, just wave and ask for whatever it is you need

Price - superb
$10 dinner (noodle soup with drinks) - cheap!

Overall - very good
Heck I might go back there again tomorrow!
