The Paleontology part of the museum hosts the Nordic's biggest exhibition of real dinosaurs and 2 of their highlights are the 5000-year-old skeleton of a gray whale that was found in Uppland (and that nowadays only exist in the Pacific Ocean) and 3 teeth from the 300,000-year-old Peking Man (Homo erectus pekinensis) found in Peking, China.
Practical info: open Tuesday-Thursday 1pm-4pm and Sundays 11am-3pm during September to May, open every day between 11am and 4pm during the Summer (not on the Midsummer weekend). The entrance fee is 30 SEK for adults and 10 SEK for children up to 16 years of age. The entrance covers both the Zoology and the Paleontology parts.
Address: the Paleontology part is located on Norbyvägen 22, within walking distance of the Zoology part, the Uppsala Castle and the Botanical Garden.
