  Palazzo Coccina Tiepolo Papadopoli
by MM212

As its name indicates, this 1580 palazzo changed hands several times since its construction. It was originally built for the Coccina family of Bergamo who sold it to the Tiepolo family, but it was eventually purchased by the Papadopoli family. Now it houses L'Istituto di Scienze Marine (Marine Sciences Institute), but there are rumours that its been sold to be developed into a hotel. The palazzo is located in San Polo, right on the Grand Canal.

Address: San Polo on the Grand Canal
