Built in the 17th century for the Pesaro family, this sumptuous Baroque palazzo is now home to the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna di Venezia (Museum of Modern Art). It is considered a masterpiece of Venetian Baroque architecture, designed the renowned architect Baldassarre Longhena. Overtime, the palazzo changed ownership several times until it became a museum.
