Located near the Mehrangarh Fort overlooking the city stands this white marble cenotaph that was built as a memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. It was built in 1899, five years after his death, and then other royal cenotaphs were built on its grounds nearby. The Maharaja built an innovative irrigation scheme for the people of Jodhpur. Local people, who believe the maharaja has retained his healing touch, come regularly to offer prayer and flowers at his shrine.

Open: 9am-5pm. Admission: Rs20 for foreigner. Rs25 for camera.
