Terre et Mer: "French food in Seoul" Terre et Mer Tip by seoulgirl

Terre et Mer, Seoul: 1 reviews and 0 photos

The restaurant used to be an antique shop so there are many antiques around. The front room is not as cosy as the back room, where we decided to eat. The menu is in Korean and French. The chef is really French and is excellent. He seated us and took our order. Portions are not huge, French size.

Favorite Dish: The Escalope de Poulet Bleu, a chicken breast cutlet sauteed and doused in rich creamy blue cheese sauce, is awesome. The Filet deBoef au Poivre Vert, a beef ffilet pounded thin and covered in a green pepper corn sauce was super tender and excellent. Mussels in a cream sauce for 2o,000 won, enough for 4 people. The filet de Daurade au Cognac a L'Origan is a boneless filet of sea bass accompanied by a rich creamy sauce spiked with cognac and oregano. Recommend by the chef, it was superb. Lunch is the best value at 10-12,000 won. Dinners are 28,000 to 35,000. Wine is expensive 40,000-180,000. Bring your own and pay a 20,000 corkage fee.
