Favorite thing: This picturesque building was constructed in 1883 and is the Old Keidel Memorial Hospital. Historical accounts say it may be named for architect Albert Keidel*.
So many of Fredericksburg's old buildings are preserved and appreciated! As you walk Main Street, you can easily absorb the character of the town.
Currently this structure holds the Rathskeller restaurant in its basement area, where you'll find hearty German food and adult beverages.
The Der Kuchen Laden kitchen shoppe is housed on its upper level and carries kitchenware, ceramics and cookbooks.
The Old Keidel Memorial Hospital sits on Main Street, Fredericksburg, Tx.
