My first sight of this tile covered church was shortly after arriving in the city, on the way to our hotel. It was night time, and it was one of the impressive memories for me as it was illuminated.
Exploring the city next day, we came across the church in day light. It didn't appear quite as impressive as at night time, but was worth a look.
This Gothic church is one of the UNESCO protected heritage sites of Porto. The blue and white azulejo (tiled) panels are by Jorge Colaco (Who painted the impressive panels of Sao Benito station)
I didn't get to see the inside as there was a service taking place, but there are examples of Rococco and Baroque architecture and fittings.
