"Mannekin Pis" Manneken Pis Tip by rcsparty

Manneken Pis, Brussels: 171 reviews and 235 photos

The Mannekin Pis is a bronze statue made by Jerome Duquesnoy in 1619. It's tucked into an enclave on the rue de l'eture and is worth a walk by. We actually stumbled upon it on the way home from the bar...which seemed fitting. France's King Louis XV started the tradition of dressing the statue in different outfits. You can find the outfits on display in the municiple museum on the top floor. There are over 500 different costumes.
