The bridges are promoted for the viewing. They are all nice, and I believe that Erzebet is equal to the Chain bridge (not shown). The chain bridge was completed after 7 years to finish, and is 375 meters long. It previously had only a pontoon going across, and froze out in the winters. Count Szenchnyl vowed to construct in 1820 after he could not visit his sick father. It got done in 1849. The Germans blew up the bridge in WWII and it has been rebuilt to authenticity in 1949. The two lions on either sides are great monuments.
