France Hotel: "On the water & close by" Yosu Hotel Tip by DSwede

The stay here was comfortable. Yeosu does not have big hotels, so you have to make do with what is there. In other cities, this might be a 3-star hotel, but it is arguably the best in Yeosu.

From the outside, it might be mistaken for one of the many 'love motels' in Korea, but with a fair share of Korean and foreign business guests, it is an honest-to-God hotel.

Basic room is $40USD. Premium room is $60USD.

Unique Qualities: It is within walking distance of "sushi town" which has some good seafood restaurants. Also walking distance to the "new" downtown where most of the night's life is.

There is no restaurant here, but will serve 1 egg, 2 toast and juice to your room upon request.

Directions: From the "new" downtown, go south to the water and turn right. The English "France Hotel" sign might be hard to see, but if you can read Korean, its Korean signs are easy to see (translated Korean name would be "P-uh LAN CE-uh HO TEL"
