"airport park & ride" Edinburgh Transportation Tip by iaint

Edinburgh Transportation: 192 reviews and 154 photos

You park (for free) at the entrance to the airport and buses (every 10-15 minutes) take you to the city centre for a £1 flat fare. Its just as quick as driving in, but much cheaper and less aggravating.
Make sure you take the X48 service, not the 35, if you're going into town. We got it wrong first time, and had a tour of the business parks and grotty suburbs on the west side, plus it took 50 minutes instead of 25!
