This place is already recommended on virtual tourist and I can see why. It is not far from the beach at all. We are staying in a medium sized wooden bungalow with a tiled bathroom (not just the floor either!). The bungalow is solid and hasn't let any water in so far (we are here in the wet season) The balcony area is mainly sheltered from the rain (which is a very good thing as it has been pouring all day). Bedding and towels are supplied which is unusual at this price. The restaurant has authentic and cheap Thai food. The staff are friendly and they do like to smile.

There are bigger bungalows available. Top price is 900B for 2 double beds, T.V. Air con and hot shower. But the Balcony is not sheltered from the rain.

We also have a dog that visits us each night and sleeps on the balcony. He has collar and a glossy coat, so somebody takes care of him.

Unique Qualities: Good solid balcony and a bathroom that is decorated. Towels are provided, unusual for this price.

Address: Sairee Beach
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: You can either approach this from the main road and it is sign posted. Or you can approach it from the small path/road that runs alongside the beach itself. It is about 3/4 of the way up the beach.
Price: less than US$20
Theme: Other
