Sackets Harbor Brewing Company: "beer and a meal" Sackets Harbor Restaurant Tip by davecallahan
Sackets Harbor Restaurants: 1 reviews and 2 photos
This brewery is about 20 years old and makes some unique micro-brewed selections.
Half the beer they sell (about 20000 gallons) is made right in Sackets Harbor and the rest is made in their sister company in Saratoga Springs, NY.
The food is typically steak and sandwiches and some mighty tasty beer. There are five special brews of the house that you can order plus the old standards. We had open-face steak sandwich, fries and a salad and a chicken-and-vegetables platter... good old American fare.
The eating area was dark woods with some nautical gear on the wall and many posters of beers of the world and things having to do with brewing beer.
The staff was pretty busy (they appeared to be short-handed that day) but still we got served within 15 minutes and everything was fine. There was a small mix-up between what we ordered and what was on the bill and they nicely corrected the tab in our favor. We returned the favor by leaving a good tip.
We will return there on our next visit up route 3 on our way to the Thousand Islands.
