Herbert Samuel: "Exciting Tapas in Tel Aviv" Tel Aviv-Yafo Restaurant Tip by alros2

Tel Aviv-Yafo Restaurants: 272 reviews and 326 photos

A trendy new restaurant headed by a famous Israeli chef (Yonathan Roshfeld). Across from the sea in the ground floor of an office building, the restaurant has a coolish yet friendly modern decor. The dishes are mainly haute cuisine style first courses in the style of tapas or mezes. Everything is excellent, served elegantly with an interesting combination of ingrediants. Some examples of dishes are calamari served with white beans and a warm tahini sauce , a chestnut, beans and truffle soup, octopus salad, ravioli filled with ricotta and sage, leek tart with goat cheese, mushrooms and a quail egg and many other interesting and varied dishes. The portions are not large amd one does not walk out feeling heavy. Highly reccomended.
