  Jazz By The Boulevard
by VeronicaG

It's no secret that my husband and I enjoy smooth or contemporary jazz, so when the 5th annual Jazz By The Boulevard was held on a September weekend, we were sure to be there!

This event was FREE and held on the expansive lawn area of Will Rogers Memorial Arena. Special table seating was available, but we did not reserve a space here. We toted out folding chairs to the event and simply enjoyed a night of music in the midst of a huge, appreciative crowd!

We listened to the sultry singing of Marcia Ball and the lively performance of George Duke on the Coors Light main stage. It was a lovely evening under the stars...and very romantic in spite of the large number of attendees.

Exhibitors and artists had booths along the edge of the gathering and food and beverage booths made grabbing a snack easy! Coupons had to be purchased first at a designated booth, then the specified number handed over to the vendors.

Large outdoor parking lots, plus an underground parking area made visiting the Jazz Festival just that more convenient!
