If your done with the temples of Aswan, and you have nothing to do, why not go to the Nubian Village!? Simply ask your hotel if they have any tours to the Nubian village! (Ours came with a Nubian guy tour guide)
Going to the Nubian Village is the fun part! You get to ride on a Feluca, and sail through the currents of the river! Sometimes your feluca will even get caught in a mini whirllpool. (Ours did and it was so fun!) Once you arrived in land, The friendly nubians will give you each a camel and you will ride it to the nubian village! (A 15-20minute camel ride)
Once you arrived at the Nubian village, feel free to look around, like go to the school and learn to write in Nubian, or hike the short mountain path and see the whole Nubian village.
If your lucky, your tour guide may let you visit his house, and you will see the different Nubian architexture and furnitures!
On our way back, some nubian women sang with scrilly voices, it was something different form temples! You should try going here if your in Aswan! Am sure you'll love it!
