"Zulu Scottish" Scotland Favorite Tip by scottishvisitor

Favorite thing: The Zulu was a new type of fishing boat designed by a Lossiemouth fisherman William 'Dad' Campbell built in Portsoy by the MacDonald Brothers. The Zulu had two masts and three sails enabling it to reach the fishing grounds at speed. A very popular boat with the fishermen of the North East Coast. You can see replicas of this boat at the Fishing Museums in Lossiemouth in Moray and Anstruther in Fife.
