Almanacco: "Artistic Bookbinding" Top 5 Page for this destination Reggio Emilia Shopping Tip by PALLINA

Reggio Emilia Shopping: 6 reviews and 7 photos

In my shopping tips you won’t find the name of big shopping centers, born like mushrooms in the last year in Reggio Emilia and that you can find in every travel guide but you will find such unusual shops it is really worth to be visited.

This more or less 18- years-old artistic bookbinding shop has been run by a nice lady, a former graphic designer. Via Dell’Erba is a narrow but comfortable road with no shops except for Almanacco.

Opening hours: every morning 9.00am-1.00 pm
afternoon: only Fri and Sat 4.00 pm- 7.30 pm

What to buy: Here you can find everything you can do with paper: photo albums, diaries, note books, photo frames, receipts books, guests book, pencils boxes and paintings (Anna Baldi is also painter, essentially pencils and aquarelles. She is specialized in children drawings). Everything is hand made and different from another. Customized items can be manufactured upon request…the waiting list is not so long!

Address: Via Dell'Erba, 2f Reggio Emilia
Directions: It’s in the old town centre so you can walk there (just 2-3 minutes form the Town Hall) or, if you are by car, you have to walk 1-2 minutes from Piazza Fiume parking (1€ per hour).
