"Uh, think again." Royal Highland Hotel Tip by Mikey64

Royal Highland Hotel, Inverness: 1,539 reviews and 0 photos

This was do-able, but disappointing. I checked in, went to my room, and was introduced to one of the smallest beds I've ever seen. I actually almost fell out of it in the middle of the night. They upgraded me the next day, but the rooms were not in very good shape. The 6-foot long bathtub was only thing that I really liked. At night, the room was hot (June), so I had to open the windows. At 2 in the morning the locals coming out of bars were roudy enough to keep you awake until they finally disappeared. The town was very nice and we were able to walk around easily from the hotel. The train station was right there, so that was convenient to take a ride out west for a tour. Lockness boat tour was worth it.
