Favorite thing: There is one thing that you gain by stopping by at the Information Center at boarder of Canada- you will save a lot of time! The information guide will give you free brochures on all the tourist destination in Canada and also they give you free maps! You can also map out your day and plan ahead so you can see more places and it saves you a lot of time. Just for example, we were told to first go to Stanley Park and then pass the bridge to go to the Capilano Suspension Bridge! These parks are close to each other!

Also, the tourist information will also give you discounts at the main gate if you buy your tickets to get entry at the Capilano Bridge.

There are several parking lots and some overflow parking lots located at the park. When it is peak season, it is better to park close to the police station which located at the left loop of Stanley Park - behind the building. Just cut across the park to get to the Totem Poles or if you have a lot of time, walk around the path.

Make sure to pay your parking fees. The parking meter accepts either US or Canadian coins. It also accepts credit cards. The fine for not paying is expensive. The first two hours cost $2 Canadian dollars!

Fondest memory: I love the food at the International District or the China town! They have all the fruits that I love to eat!
