"Great views of Antananarivo" Hotel Royal Palissandre Tip by bumpychick

Le Royal Pallisandre is a very good quality hotel in the heart of the city. The rooms and public areas are modern and tastefully decorated, with attractive fixtures and fittings. There is a terrace attached to the restuarant, where you can eat lunch whilst enjoying panoramic views of the city. Staff are well trained, some speak good English, and the welcome is very friendly.
We returned to this hotel on 3 occasions during our trip, and found all the rooms to be of an equally high standard. I would recommend asking for a room with a view of the city however, as the rooms that face the road are noisier, darker and look out on to deralict buldings.

Unique Qualities: The hotel has a Spa and an outdoor pool on the terrace. The cuisine is mainly french influenced; very good quality but small portions and very high prices for Madagascar.
