The Calvary in the Parish Close of Guimiliau
by hquittner

Just as unusual as Carnac are the Breton Parish Closes and their Calvaries. Some archeologists think that there is more than a spiritual descendency from one to the other, almost in the genes. It is worth a day and is diiferent from any other adventure you can have in Brittany. Three of the towns are within 20 km to the southwest of Morlaix (St. Thegonnec, Guimiliau and Lampaul-Guimiliau) and another Pleyben just a little farther away. We visited the four in one day trip starting from near Locronan. We have developed pages on each of these towns.
