Take extra care with your luggage while in Bali. Many people have been caught with illegal drugs found in their suitcases, handbags, and even Boogy bags. Schapelle Corby, a pretty Australian woman was caught up with 4.2 kgs and now faces the next 20 years in prison for an offence that she strongly says that she did not commit. Whether she is telling the truth or whether she has been framed is unsure but I do feel for this woman being trapped in a foreign jail day after day, night after night. If Schappelle did commit this crime, have we seen evidence of her suffering from withdrawl symptoms of the marijuana was found in her boogy board bag? There are so many things I would like to say about this case but I am urging all travellers who do go to Bali to be vigilant and take care of their belongings at all times. Bali is a wonderful place to visit but be careful especially at airports and keep your things locked up and stored in security boxes or rooms when in hotels.
