Savoia Pastry Shoppe: "best italian cookies" Top 5 Page for this destination Rochester Restaurant Tip by davecallahan
Rochester Restaurants: 51 reviews and 61 photos
To call this a bakery is an insult. This is a fine Italian pastry shop with nearly 80 years of Petrantoni family tradition baked into every mouthful.
The list of items made here include these popular favorites:
Sicilian bread, St. Joseph?s bread, Easter bread, Italian loaves, demicakes, cheesecakes, cream pies, kuchens, coffee cakes, jellyrolls, cannolis, eclairs, and dozens more of cookies whose names I don't know but whose tastes are mouth watering.
So stop in and point to what you want and get a dozen of them.
They are open 9am to 7pm most days ( they close at 2pm on Sunday).
Address: 2267 Clifford Avenue
Price Comparison: about average
Directions: at the Irondequoit end of Clifford Avenue near Culver Road where Clifford turns into Empire
