Vienna Cafe: "Great Breakfast and Lunch!" Sal's Restaurant Tip by GracesTrips
Sal's Restaurant, Hollywood: 1 reviews and 3 photos
So, we're walking down Melrose to do some shopping and have some lunch. Hmmm, where shall we eat at? How 'bout over there - where the place looked packed and people standing around waiting to be seated. This doesn't appeal to my boyfriend because he doesn't like to wait. The waitress claims it will be only 10 minutes and looking at the dishes being served, I think it would be worth it. The wait was more like 5 minutes which was even better.
Favorite Dish: I ordered the Bistro Salad for $10.95. This was fantastic! Strips of grilled N.Y steak on a bead of crispy romaine lettuce, organic mixed greens, watercress, tomatoes, white beans and dry sautéed Portobello mushroom chips, sprinkled with balsamic vinaigrette and Gorgonzola cheese! Delicious! My boyfriend had a breakfast item. Not sure what it was called a "something" Scrambled. Eggs with spinach for $8.95. I had a bite, it was tasty, served with two pieces of toast but not ordinary toast. This toast had nuts in it.
