Gasthaus Mutter Hoppe: "Very good local food and not expensive" Gaststätte Mutter Hoppe Tip by Alex_71

Gaststätte Mutter Hoppe, Berlin: 3 reviews and 8 photos

The restaurant is not far from the center but in the same time it's not in the local area of Mitte. The good thing is that there isn't so much confusion inside(or outside). I tryed to eat just local food and i liked most of the things i tryed. You can sit outside or inside but anyway it's a good thing you go inside to visit the restaurant. It's really pretty (as you can see from the pictures)!
Usually i had a first dish as a soup and then a second dish (divided in 2 'couse they are really big). Inside the restaorant i found lots of italians (we love a good way of cooking you know) and some germans too. To find local people it's good for me..'couse it means you try "real" local food and not something made for tourist.
I really suggest to try this kind of's pretty, it's good as food, it's not expensive..why not trying?
P.S. if you are italians ask for the italian's funny to read (and it helps)
P.P.S. Check the pics..there is one of mine in which you can see how big are the portions

Favorite Dish: Well there isn't a "favourite" even if i admit the "mushoroom soup" was really great and also the pig, but try you wish..i never found something i didn't like.
