Favorite thing: Well ! while staying in Islamabad can depart for the fort in any type of transport and can reach within 2 to 3 hours. The road is Ok. Previously you had to drive through a river bed. The situation is now normal. It is a good drive. The area is plain generally and barren. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to visit the places inside fort. You always get a good guide(local) if already not having one. Food stalls can be seen in the area but it is advisable to carry your own haversack. Sept to April is favorable season for the visit.

Fondest memory: Walking on the walls of Fort where ever possible.
