  Kinkakuji - The golden paviljon
by bennieofzo

The Kinkakuji temple or golden paviljon is a replica of the 14th century building that was burned in 1950 by a monk who could not whithstand the beauty of it. It was rebuilt in 1955. The garden surrouding the temple is also very beautiful.
