In addition to the private bus service, the MVV runs a few buses between the Herrsching S-8 station and the Starnberg-Nord S-6 station. As of 2012, Regional Bus 951 runs 5 times daily Mon-Fri, 4 times daily Sat-Sun. Beware: While Regional Bus 950 makes several trips per day between Herrsching and Starnberg-Nord, it does NOT stop in Andechs. Travel time is 10-12 minutes to/from Herrsching and 25-30 minutes to/from Starnberg Nord.
