"Hi Ho Hi Ho, It's off to sleep we go" Comfort Suites Maingate East Tip by starrlot

Comfort Suites Maingate East, Kissimmee: 1,837 reviews and 0 photos

It is extremely difficult to find a fairly nice hotel in the area during peak season without spending a fortune. We went during the July 4th holiday, and the only hotels available were the $300 a night rooms on the Disneyworld resort and a suite at this hotel. So, we chose the suite since there were four in our party.

The decor is festive, it immediately puts you in the mood for what to expect at DW. It is an extremely busy hotel though. The breakfast was great, a full buffet of hot and cold foods, everything you can imagine was available. There was a small gift shop where you could by sunscreen, batteries and sundries.

The rooms were huge. Two huge comfortable beds (although not comfortable enough for me to relax after getting sunburned the day before at the beach), and the bathrooms are enormous and a pleasure to relax in after a long day in the parks. My son slept on the sofa bed, and complained that it was a little lumpy, but staff fixed that with providing a cushion to place over the sofa mattress.

The swimming pool was great with a wet and snack bar right next to it. The location in relation to Orlando, Universal Studios and Disneyworld is perfect.

When we return back to Orlando, I will definitely consider staying here again.

Unique Qualities: Large suites. Located in Old Kissimmee (for those who remember the old days of going to DW), and location.
