Favorite thing: Before we arrived in Latin America we spoke very little Spanish, so, with Buenos Aires as our first stop, we arranged lessons with the Edena Spanish school. We took individual lessons for 3 hours a day for 8 days. Individual lessons can be very demanding but in my opinion they are better than group classes as I think you get more attention and more time for conversation. I had an excellent teacher, Ingrid, with whom I got on very well. Though she gave me so much homework that I barely had time left for sightseeing!

Our lessons cost $10 per hour which is certainly cheaper than many other schools in the city. There are cheaper countries in which to learn Spanish but if you find yourself in Buenos Aires, Edena is a good choice. After 8 days I had improved hugely and had learned so much.
