In Grant Park there is a fountain which has a fair amount of notoriety. The Buckingham Fountain is a very large, multi-leveled fountain right near Lake Michigan. It has been featured in several movies, and you can always find young couples strolling about, hand in hand. It is a rather romantic setting, and it is lit up in the nighttime. It is wonderful to visit, even if you are single.
